History

From its beginnings

Hunter Laing began distillation at Ardnahoe in 2018 after building the site on Islay's north-east coast. Its first single malt was released in 2024.

Ardnahoe remains an operating Scotch whisky distillery at Port Askaig, Isle of Islay. Its present identity joins the accumulated fabric of the site to an active production tradition, while discontinued bottlings belong to the range history rather than defining the distillery today.
