From its beginnings

The former mill was converted to whisky production in 1966. After a closure in the 1980s, the distillery reopened under Burn Stewart in 1991.

Deanston remains an operating Scotch whisky distillery at Doune, Perthshire. Its present identity joins the accumulated fabric of the site to an active production tradition, while discontinued bottlings belong to the range history rather than defining the distillery today.
