From its beginnings

A consortium of blenders founded Tamdhu in 1897. The distillery survived several closures and returned to production under Ian Macleod Distillers in 2012.

Tamdhu remains an operating Scotch whisky distillery at Knockando, Moray. Its present identity joins the accumulated fabric of the site to an active production tradition, while discontinued bottlings belong to the range history rather than defining the distillery today.
