History
From its beginnings
John Sinclair founded the distillery as Ledaig in 1798. Long closures and several names followed before production resumed under the Tobermory identity.
Tobermory remains an operating Scotch whisky distillery at Tobermory, Isle of Mull. Its present identity joins the accumulated fabric of the site to an active production tradition, while discontinued bottlings belong to the range history rather than defining the distillery today.

Identity
The character
